Installation

Installing TeamCAMS is straightforward and does not require administrative privileges.

  • Open the repository corresponding to the component you wish to install.
  • Download the latest release package for your operating system.
  • Extract the downloaded ZIP archive to any folder on your computer.
  • Launch the executable file contained in the extracted directory.

Pre-built packages are currently provided for:

  • Windows (AMD64 / x86-64)
  • Linux (AMD64 / x86-64)

No additional installation steps are required. TeamCAMS applications can be run directly from the extracted folder, making deployment simple on research workstations, laboratory computers, and portable environments.

Operator Interface

The Operator Interface is a web-based application and, in most cases, does not need to be downloaded or installed by either researchers or participants. The TeamCAMS Manager is already configured to use the Operator Interface instance hosted on the official TeamCAMS infrastructure.

When an experiment is made available, participants simply connect using the URL or QR code generated by the Manager. Opening the link in a modern web browser is sufficient to access the simulation and join the assigned session.

Researchers may optionally deploy and host their own instance of the Operator Interface if required. This can be useful in environments with restricted Internet connectivity or when organizational policies require all components to remain within a private network.

Building from Source

Users who wish to customize, extend, or contribute to TeamCAMS can download the source code and build the applications directly from the repositories. Additional instructions are available in the documentation provided with each project.
