Acknowledgements

The development of TeamCAMS has benefited from the contributions, expertise, and support of numerous researchers and institutions over many years.

Particular recognition is due to Prof. Jürgen Sauer, Dr. Alain Chavaillaz, and Prof. Andreas Sonderegger, whose work on the AutoCAMS and TeamCAMS research programs has significantly advanced the study of human performance, teamwork, automation, and human-AI interaction. Their scientific leadership and continued support have been instrumental in the evolution of these simulation environments.

The authors also gratefully acknowledge the Cognitive Ergonomics and Work Psychology Team, Department of Psychology, University of Fribourg, Switzerland, for providing the initial financial support that enabled the early development of TeamCAMS and laid the foundations for its subsequent growth as an open-source research platform.

Special acknowledgement is given to Dr. Peter Nickel, who initially involved the developer in the AutoCAMS project in 2008 and supported the subsequent development and extension of AutoCAMS 2.0 over several years. This collaboration provided valuable experience and contributed to the technical and scientific foundations upon which TeamCAMS was later developed.

Appreciation is further extended to all researchers who contributed to the AutoCAMS project and helped establish the scientific foundations that ultimately led to the creation of TeamCAMS.

Finally, acknowledgement is given to all researchers, collaborators, and students who have participated in the design, evaluation, and application of TeamCAMS. Their feedback, research activities, and continued engagement have played an important role in the ongoing refinement and expansion of the platform.
